It depends on the platform, the number of templates, how much third-party code the site loads and whether fixes need theme or code changes. After a short audit we send a written estimate. As a guide, a speed audit with quick fixes usually costs $1,500 to $5,000, and a full Core Web Vitals project on a larger site or web app $5,000 to $25,000 or more (USD).
Three measures Google uses for page experience: Largest Contentful Paint (how fast the main content appears, good is 2.5 seconds or less), Interaction to Next Paint (how fast the page reacts to taps and clicks, good is 200 milliseconds or less) and Cumulative Layout Shift (how much the page jumps, good is 0.1 or less).
Page experience is one of many ranking signals, so speed alone will not move a page past more relevant content. It does help when competing pages are similar, and faster pages usually keep more visitors and convert better.
The PageSpeed score is a lab test on a simulated slow phone. Search Console shows field data from real Chrome users over the last 28 days. We use both: lab data to find causes and field data to confirm results.
Usually, yes. Most gains come from caching, image handling, removing or replacing heavy plugins, deferring scripts and better hosting. If the theme itself is the problem, we will say so and estimate a rebuild.
Yes. Common fixes are moving work to Server Components, reducing client JavaScript, fixing image and font loading, and adjusting caching and rendering per route.
Lab results improve as soon as fixes go live. Field data in Search Console updates over a rolling 28-day window, so the full effect shows about a month after release.
Often they are the biggest cause of poor INP. We audit each third-party script, remove unused ones and load the rest later or off the main thread, while keeping your tracking working.
