Multi-vendor marketplaces with seller onboarding, split payments and commissions handled for you.
Stack we work in
Figures as of Oct 2026
Trusted by
A multi-vendor marketplace lets many sellers list and sell on your platform while you take a commission, without holding the stock yourself.
We build marketplaces from scratch or on proven platforms, with seller sign-up and checks, listings, orders split by seller, payouts and commissions, reviews and dispute handling. On the technical side we use Stripe Connect or Adyen for Platforms for split payments and seller verification, and choose between Mirakl for enterprise retailers, Sharetribe for fast launches, or a custom build on Medusa, Node.js and Next.js when you need full control.
Finance works out commissions in spreadsheets and pays sellers by bank transfer.
New sellers wait on manual checks, emails and product uploads.
A single-vendor platform has been stretched to add sellers and is breaking.
Fake listings, poor sellers and disputes damage buyer confidence.
Build or buy, and which payment provider, without a clear view of cost.

Developers who keep building and running your marketplace.
It depends on the model (products, services or rentals), the platform, the payment flows, the number of apps and how much seller tooling you need. After a short discovery call we send a written estimate. Payment provider fees and platform licences such as Mirakl or Sharetribe are billed to you. As a guide, a marketplace MVP usually costs $30,000 to $80,000, and a full platform with web and mobile apps $80,000 to $200,000 or more (USD).
Sharetribe gets service and rental marketplaces live fastest. Mirakl suits established retailers adding third-party sellers. A custom build on Medusa or Node.js gives full control over the model and data but costs more upfront. We recommend based on your stage, budget and how unusual your model is.
The buyer pays once. A payment provider such as Stripe Connect or Adyen for Platforms splits the amount between the seller and your commission, holds funds where needed and pays sellers on a schedule. This keeps you out of handling seller money directly.
The payment provider runs the regulated identity and business checks (KYC and KYB) during seller onboarding. We build the flows around it and add your own approval rules on top.
Commission can be a percentage, a fixed fee, a subscription or a mix, and can vary by category, seller tier or promotion. We build the rules so finance can change them without code.
Yes. A multi-seller cart splits the order by seller, calculates shipping per seller and lets each seller fulfil and track their part.
Yes. We build buyer and seller apps in Flutter (with GetX, Riverpod or Bloc) or React Native, sharing the same back end as the website.
We build return and dispute flows with clear status, messages between buyer, seller and your team, and refunds through the payment provider.
Yes. We usually launch an MVP with the core flows and a small group of sellers, then add features as real usage shows what matters.
Yes, for custom builds the code is in your repositories and accounts are in your name. On hosted platforms such as Sharetribe or Mirakl you own your data and we document how to export it.
We start by writing a marketplace blueprint and a written estimate. A marketplace MVP usually takes 3 to 5 months. We need your business model, commission rules and a decision-maker available each week.
We offer production support, monitoring and ongoing development, so new features and fixes keep coming as the marketplace grows.
