It depends on the number of journeys and APIs, target load, test environment, how deep the bottleneck analysis goes and whether you want repeat testing. We quote a fixed price per test cycle. Load generation cloud charges are billed to your own account where possible. As a guide, a focused load test of key journeys usually costs $3,000 to $10,000, and a full performance engagement with tuning and capacity planning $10,000 to $35,000 or more (USD).
We pick the one that suits your team and system. k6 scripts are JavaScript and fit well into CI, JMeter suits teams with existing test plans, Gatling handles very high load efficiently, and Locust is a good fit for Python teams. We keep your existing scripts where they work.
Load testing checks expected traffic. Stress testing pushes past it to find the breaking point. Spike testing applies sudden jumps, like a sale going live. Soak testing runs steady load for hours to find memory leaks and slow degradation. Most plans combine several.
