Move your online store to a new platform without losing data, search rankings or sales.

Figures as of Oct 2026

Moving an online store to a new platform is risky: lose the wrong data or URLs and sales and search traffic can drop for months.
We plan and run store migrations end to end, from Magento to Shopify, WooCommerce to Shopify, Shopify to headless and other replatforming moves. That covers products, variants, customers, orders, reviews, gift cards and content, a full 301 redirect map, SEO checks before and after launch, and integrations rebuilt on the new platform, with a tested cut-over plan so the store keeps trading.
The store runs on an old version that is costly to patch and hard to change.
The team knows the platform must change but worries about search traffic.
Products, customers and content live in different formats and systems.
A previous migration lost redirects or data and sales dropped.
ERP, warehouse and marketing links must keep working on day one.

Developers who stay on after launch for new features.
It depends on the number of products, customers and orders, how much custom functionality must be rebuilt, the integrations involved and whether you also redesign the store. After a short discovery call we send a written estimate. New platform and app fees are billed to your accounts. As a guide, a standard store migration usually costs $10,000 to $40,000, and a large migration with custom features and integrations $40,000 to $120,000 or more (USD).
A migration always carries some risk, but most of it comes from missing redirects and lost content. We crawl every URL, map each one with a 301 redirect, carry over titles, descriptions and structured data, and monitor Search Console closely after launch so any drop is caught and fixed early.
Customer accounts and order history can be moved. Passwords usually cannot, because platforms store them in different, secure ways. Customers activate their account or reset their password on the new store, and we send a clear email to make that easy.
A simple store can move in 4 to 8 weeks. Larger stores with custom features, integrations and a redesign usually take 3 to 6 months. We agree a timeline after the audit.
No. We build the new store alongside the old one, run trial imports, then switch over in a planned window with a final sync of new orders and customers.
Yes. It is one of our most common moves. We migrate products, customers, orders and content, rebuild key features with Shopify apps or custom code and set up redirects. We also help teams decide whether to stay on Magento with a Hyvä front end instead.
Yes. We move products, variants, customers, orders, reviews and blog content, set up redirects from WordPress URLs and rebuild plugin features with Shopify apps or custom code.
Customer passwords and saved card details cannot move between platforms for security reasons. Some app data, such as certain loyalty or subscription records, depends on the apps involved. We list these during the audit and plan a workaround for each.
We can. Some clients keep the look close to the current store to limit change; others use the move to redesign. Both are planned in the audit.
We start with a migration audit and a written estimate. We need admin access to your current store, a list of apps and integrations, and someone who can sign off the data and redirect maps.
We work under NDA, use the least access needed and move data over encrypted connections. You own all data, and we remove our access when the project ends.
We monitor the new store, rankings and orders for the weeks after launch and fix any issues. Ongoing support and development are available after that.
Book a call with our team. We will review your current store and outline the migration plan, the risks, the steps and the likely cost.
