Our cloud data migration service moves databases, warehouses and pipelines to the cloud, and can run alongside your application migration.
It depends on the number of applications and servers, how they are linked, the migration approach for each, compliance needs and the target cloud. After discovery we send a written estimate per wave. Cloud charges are billed to your own account, and providers often fund part of larger migrations through their partner programs. As a guide, a migration assessment usually costs $3,000 to $10,000, moving a single application $8,000 to $30,000, and a multi-application migration $40,000 to $150,000 or more (USD).
Rehosting moves an application as it is, usually as virtual machines, and is the fastest. Replatforming makes small changes, such as moving to a managed database or containers, for lower running effort. Refactoring reworks parts of the application to use cloud-native services, which costs more up front but often pays back in scaling and running costs. We choose per application.

A single web application often moves in a few weeks. A larger estate is usually planned in waves over a few months. The discovery phase gives you a realistic timeline before you commit to the full migration.
We keep it as short as possible. Data is synchronized ahead of the switch, cutovers happen in agreed windows, and each one has a tested rollback step. Many applications move with only minutes of downtime.
AWS, Azure and Google Cloud can all run most workloads. We usually recommend the one that fits your existing tools, licences, team skills and data location needs, for example Azure if you rely heavily on Microsoft 365 and Entra ID.
A landing zone is the pre-configured foundation of your cloud: accounts, networking, identity, security guardrails, logging and budgets. Building it first means every application lands in a secure, consistent setup instead of being configured by hand.
Often, but not automatically. A straight lift and shift can cost more than expected. We estimate costs before the move, then rightsize, use savings plans and switch off idle resources once usage settles.
We follow least-privilege access, use named accounts, keep secrets in your secrets manager rather than in code, and log the changes we make. Work happens in your cloud accounts and repositories. We design data storage and access to support GDPR and the data protection rules that apply in your country.
