It depends on the number of repositories and pipelines, languages, cloud setup, compliance goals and how large the existing backlog of findings is. After a short assessment we send a written estimate. Tool licences, where needed, are billed to you directly. As a guide, a DevSecOps assessment usually costs $3,000 to $8,000, and rolling out security checks across your pipelines $10,000 to $40,000 or more (USD).
DevSecOps adds automated security checks to every change, all the time. A penetration test is a manual, point-in-time attempt to break into your system. They complement each other: automated checks catch common issues early, and a pen test finds logic flaws and chained attacks that tools miss.
Not if they are tuned. Fast checks run on each pull request, slower scans run nightly, and only agreed high-severity issues block a release. We tune rules to remove noise, so developers see fewer, more useful findings.
We work with what you already have where possible, such as GitHub Advanced Security, GitLab security scanning, Snyk or SonarQube, and fill gaps with open-source tools like Semgrep, Trivy, Gitleaks, Syft and Cosign. We recommend tools based on your languages, budget and platform.
A software bill of materials lists every component and version inside a release. Enterprise customers, government buyers and regulations such as the EU Cyber Resilience Act increasingly ask for one. It also lets you answer quickly when a new vulnerability is announced in a popular library.
We pin CI actions and dependencies to reviewed versions, use short-lived credentials instead of stored keys, limit what each pipeline can access, sign images and artifacts, and record build provenance. This reduces the risk of attackers tampering with what you ship.
We put in place and document many of the technical controls these frameworks expect, such as change management, vulnerability management, access control and secrets handling, and produce evidence for auditors. We do not issue certifications; your chosen auditor does.
