Adding AI to a product is easy to demo and hard to get right.
Users need to know what the AI can do, when to trust its answers, how to correct it and what happens when it is wrong. We design AI features end to end: chat assistants, copilots inside your existing app, and agents that take actions on a user's behalf. We work out where AI helps, design the conversation and the screens around it, plan for errors and human review, and test with real users before your team builds it.
A chat box was added to the product, but users do not know what to ask it, so usage drops after launch.
There are no sources, no confidence cues and no easy way to check, so people redo the work by hand.
An AI that sends, books or changes things with no review step makes users and compliance teams nervous.
Timeouts, refusals and wrong answers show as blank screens or generic messages.
The prototype impressed in a meeting but was never tested with the people who will use it every day.
Outcomes
Where AI helps users most, with value and risk for each idea.
Conversation flows and Figma designs covering every state, including failures.
Clickable or model-backed prototype used for testing.
What users understood, trusted and struggled with, and what changed as a result.
Rules for tone, citations, errors, approvals and feedback your team can reuse.
Put AI where it helps users and the business.
Interfaces built around how AI behaves.
Let AI act, while users stay in charge.
Design for when the AI is wrong.
Test the real experience, not a mock-up of it.
Built with
Since 2018 we have delivered 680+ projects for 310+ clients, and 98% of clients keep working with us.
Our designers sit with the engineers who build AI features, so designs match what models can do.
We prototype with real model output, so you test real answers and mistakes, not ideal ones.
We design for wrong answers, human review and clear limits from the start.
Start with a fixed-price design engagement and a clear handover to the build team.

Engagement
Pick the right AI pattern and test a prototype with users in 2 to 3 weeks.
Our designers and AI engineers design, build and launch the feature together.
A designer working inside your product team on AI features.
It is designing the parts of a product that use AI, so people can use them confidently. That covers when the AI appears, how users ask for things, how answers and actions are shown, how users check or correct the AI, and what happens when it fails.
Normal features give the same result every time. AI gives answers that vary, can be wrong and can take time to generate. That means extra design work for streaming, uncertainty, citations, errors, approvals and feedback, which most standard UI kits do not cover.
It depends on the number of AI features, whether you need a working model-backed prototype, and how much user testing is included. As a guide, a concept and tested prototype for one AI feature usually costs $8,000 to $25,000, and full design for an AI product or several copilot and agent features $25,000 to $80,000 or more (USD).
Not always. Chat suits open-ended questions and support. Many tasks work better as an inline copilot, such as a suggest button inside a form, or as a background agent that reports back. We help you choose based on the user task, not the trend.
We plan for them from the start: show sources and confidence where possible, let users edit or regenerate, add approval steps before risky actions, show clear error and refusal messages, and offer a route to a human. We also design feedback controls so mistakes are captured and fixed.
It means a person reviews or approves AI output at the right points, for example before an agent sends an email, issues a refund or publishes content. We design review queues, approval prompts and audit trails that keep people in control without making them check everything.
Yes. As well as Figma prototypes, we can build a light working prototype on models such as Claude, GPT or Gemini. Testing with real responses shows how users react to the AI's actual tone, speed and mistakes.
Yes. Our AI engineers build chatbots, copilots and agents, including retrieval, tool use, evaluation and monitoring. Design and engineering working together avoids designs that the model cannot deliver.
We design clear notices on what data the AI uses, consent where needed, controls to remove data and options to opt out. On the engineering side we can keep data in your cloud and limit what is sent to model providers.
A concept and prototype usually takes a few weeks. Larger products are designed in stages alongside the build.
We start with a short discovery call under NDA if you need one. Send us your idea, any designs or documents, and the systems the work must connect to. We then share a written scope, timeline and estimate before any build work starts.
You do. Figma files, prototypes and research are yours, and we work under NDA.
