The project
Starwears is an auction and shopping app where fans bid on fashion items and merchandise associated with celebrities. Users register, browse items, join time-bound auctions and see every new bid in real time, then pay for the items they win through Stripe and follow the delivery in the app. Vendors and admins list products with a base price and details, run the auctions and send order updates by app, email or phone. We built the Android and iOS apps in Flutter, with an admin panel for products, auctions and orders, in a bold black-and-red design.
The challenge
- Fans had little access to fashion items connected to the celebrities they follow.
- Celebrity-linked items are usually sold at fixed, high prices with no chance to compete for them.
- Running timed auctions fairly needs every participant to see the same bids at the same moment.
What we built
- Timed auctions with a base price, a fixed duration and real-time bid updates visible to all participants.
- Stripe payments so winners complete their purchase securely in the app.
- End-to-end order tracking, with admin updates sent by app, email or phone.
- An admin panel to manage products, auctions, bids and orders.
