The project
Unserecity is a city guide that brings local news, events and gastronomy into one platform. It includes a website, Android and iOS apps and an admin panel, all with animated UI. Users follow personalised news across categories such as business, entertainment and finance, browse an event calendar, book tickets and sync events with Google Calendar. Gastronomy filters help them find restaurants and adventures, Google Maps shows where everything is, and PayPal handles payments. We built the apps in Flutter and the web and admin side in React and Laravel.
The challenge
- City news, event listings, ticketing and restaurant guides lived in separate apps and sites.
- Readers saw the same headlines regardless of the topics they cared about.
- Event dates were easy to forget once a ticket was bought.
What we built
- A website, Flutter apps for iOS and Android, and a React and Laravel admin panel.
- A searchable news hub with personalised categories and premium news highlights.
- An event calendar with ticket booking, reminders and Google Calendar sync.
- Gastronomy filters for restaurants and adventures, Google Maps, PayPal payments and a light and dark mode.
