The project
StayFit is a corporate wellness challenge platform with a mobile app, a website and an admin panel. Employers create step, running and weight loss challenges; employees join them from the app, sync steps, distance, heart rate and calories from their smartwatch, and see their rank against colleagues on a leaderboard. Check-in reminders and notifications keep people on track through each challenge, and winnings and completed challenges are saved to the profile. Admins manage users, challenges, rewards and activity logs. We built the iOS and Android apps in Flutter, the website and admin panel in React, and the backend in Node.js.
The challenge
- Workplace wellness programs struggle to keep employees taking part after the first few weeks.
- Logging activity by hand is tedious and easy to get wrong.
- Employers had no simple way to run challenges, track participation and hand out rewards.
What we built
- Public and invitation-only challenges for steps, running and weight loss.
- Smartwatch and fitness tracker sync for walk, workout, heart rate and calorie data.
- Leaderboards with each participant's rank and progress.
- An admin panel to create challenges and manage users, rewards and daily logs.
