The project
DayPass Asia connects members with health, wellness and lifestyle providers through one flexible membership. Instead of signing a contract with each gym or spa, users pick a plan and book across six service types: fitness, wellness, beauty, sports complexes, car care and pet care. They search by location, service type and availability, book instantly, and roll unused credits into the next month. DayPass runs in Malaysia, with Singapore, Indonesia and the Philippines planned. We built the iOS and Android apps in Flutter, with a WordPress website.
The challenge
- Using several gyms, spas or salons meant separate contracts, accounts and payment details for each.
- Long-term memberships did not suit people whose routines change from month to month.
- Finding a good provider nearby with free slots took searching across many websites.
What we built
- One membership with credits that work across six service categories.
- Location-based discovery with a map, filters by service type and availability, and favourites.
- Instant booking for providers that accept it, with no waiting for a reply.
- Flexible plans with credit rollover and the option to adjust or cancel anytime.
- Perks, coupons and friend referrals that earn rewards.
