The project
Quester Circle is a marketplace for short-term and project-based work, where people and businesses post tasks as quests and verified Questers complete them. Work is earned rather than bought: there are no paid boosts, Questers build a reputation through five tiers based on completed tasks, and they are paid directly, with a transparent commission. Quests appear on a map and in a list grouped by type, and members can join groups, message each other and use a discussion board.
The challenge
- On many gig platforms, visibility goes to whoever pays for promotion rather than whoever does good work.
- People looking for short tasks nearby had no simple way to find them.
- Clients could not tell which workers were verified and reliable.
What we built
- Quests shown on a normal or satellite map and in a filterable list split into Money, Information and Others.
- Verification for Questers and a five-tier reputation system built on completed work.
- Direct payments with a fixed, visible commission and no paid boosts.
- Profiles with qualifications and skills, plus groups, messaging and a discussion board.
