The project
Equitysoft HRM is our own HR and payroll product for startups and small businesses. Employees use the mobile app for self-service: they mark attendance with facial recognition, apply for leave and allowances, submit claims, check the company calendar of events and holidays, and download payslips and HR policies. Managers and team leaders approve requests and see their team's leave from the same system, and an employee feed carries announcements and birthday wishes. We built the mobile app in Flutter, the web panel in React and the backend in Laravel.
The challenge
- Small companies tracked leave, allowances and claims in spreadsheets and email.
- Attendance by sign-in sheet or shared device was slow and easy to get wrong.
- Employees had to ask HR each time they needed a payslip or a policy document.
What we built
- A Flutter self-service app for attendance, leave, allowances and claims.
- Facial recognition check-in for attendance.
- Leave balances for the employee and their team, with approvals for managers.
- A shared calendar for company events and holidays, and an announcements feed.
- Payroll with payslips and HR documents stored in the app.
