The project
On Match is a job-matching platform that connects employers and job seekers. Both sides answer structured questionnaires, the platform generates a resume for each candidate, and employers and candidates see suitable matches they can accept or reject. An accepted match opens real-time chat, interview scheduling and quick audio or video calls. We built the web app, tablet support, the iOS and Android apps in Flutter, and a central admin panel, with a Node.js and MySQL backend.
The challenge
- Employers and candidates spent time on applications and screenings that were never a fit.
- After a promising match, moving to a conversation and an interview took several separate tools.
- Candidates had no clear way to show they were unavailable, or to reapply after a match fell through.
What we built
- Structured questionnaires and automatically generated resumes that feed the matching.
- Accept or reject decisions on each match, with chat and scheduling opened only after acceptance.
- Online and offline interview modes, with quick interviews by audio or video call.
- Ghost mode, interview feedback and reapplication after a declined or canceled match.
- One admin panel over the web, tablet and mobile apps.
