The project
MinerX opens Bitcoin mining to people with no mining hardware or technical knowledge. Users pick a mining plan that fits the amount they want to invest, pay with Apple Pay or Google Pay, and follow their return on investment in real time. Earnings collect in a virtual wallet inside the app and can be paid out directly to a bank account. An admin panel handles user registrations, tracks mining activity and keeps the platform running. We built the iOS and Android apps in Flutter with a Node.js and MySQL backend.
The challenge
- Mining Bitcoin normally needs specialised hardware, power and technical know-how.
- Investors in mining had little visibility of how their money was performing.
- Turning mining earnings into ordinary money took several steps outside the app.
