The project
Flygi is a free travel search app from Sweden. It compares flight prices from hundreds of airlines and travel agencies, including budget carriers, and does the same for hotels, apartments and holiday homes and for rental cars. Travellers search one-way, return or multi-city trips, sort results by best, cheapest or fastest, and open the chosen offer to book with the provider. A travel guide covers sights, maps and local tips, and Flygi is an authorised reseller of the Japan Rail Pass, which can be ordered in the app. The app runs in several languages.
The challenge
- Finding the cheapest flight meant checking many airline and agency sites one by one.
