An AI wardrobe app that turns what people own into insights on habits, spending and style identity.

The project
A mobile app for style-conscious people that treats a wardrobe as data. Users add items from photos, links or receipts, and AI fills in the details. The app then shows what they wear most, what they rarely use, where they overbuy and what really defines their style. As the wardrobe grows, it builds a style identity from what the user actually owns, and guided prompts help them reflect before buying. Gamification keeps the process engaging. We built the iOS and Android apps in Flutter, with a Node.js back end and a React admin panel.
The challenge
- Most wardrobe apps tell people what to wear but not why they own what they own.
- Adding a whole wardrobe to an app by hand takes too long for most users.
- People overbuy and keep duplicates without seeing the pattern behind their purchases.
- Style quizzes give a one-off label that does not change as a person's wardrobe and habits change.
What we built
- Item capture from photos, links and receipts, with AI filling in the details.
- Insight views on wear frequency, unused items, duplicates, gaps and spending habits.
- A style identity that evolves from real wardrobe data instead of a one-off quiz.
- Guided reflection prompts that help users decide what to keep, let go or skip buying.
- Gamification and behavioral analytics that turn wardrobe management into an ongoing journey.
