The project
A mobile super app that combines taxi booking, food ordering and small parcel delivery in one place. Users order an affordable ride and watch the driver approach on an integrated map, browse nearby restaurants across different cuisines and have meals delivered, or send and receive small packages locally. Any of these can be booked on behalf of a friend or family member who does not use the app. Real-time GPS tracking keeps every order visible. We built the mobile apps in Flutter, the admin panel in React and the back end in Node.js with MySQL.
The challenge
- People used separate apps, or phone calls, for rides, food and local deliveries.
- Riders could not see where their taxi was or when it would arrive.
- Helping a relative with a ride or a delivery meant they had to use the app themselves.
