The project
Oria Surv is a services marketplace that connects customers with verified vendors. It started with cleaning services and now also covers HVAC, MEP, construction, facility management and maintenance for homes and businesses. Customers browse vendors, see discount offers, book a service, pay securely, track the order's progress and leave a review. Payments are held in escrow until the job is done, so both sides can trust the transaction. We built the customer app in Flutter and the web platform with React and Node.js, and the website offers English and Arabic.
The challenge
- Customers had no easy way to compare cleaning and maintenance vendors or check if they were reliable.
- Paying upfront for a service left customers exposed if the job was not done properly.
- After booking, customers could not see where their order stood.
What we built
- A vendor marketplace with service categories, discount offers and reviews.
- In-app booking and secure payment, with funds held in escrow until the job is complete.
- Clear order status updates from booking through to completion.
- A separate vendor sign-up path and an admin panel to verify and manage vendors.
