The project
A HIPAA-compliant health assessment and work-readiness platform for employees, employers and healthcare administrators. It digitizes employee wellness screening, pre-employment testing and physician-based clearances. Employees complete onboarding and automated medical questionnaires, capture biometric data through an integrated biometric analysis service and take a physical performance assessment, all in one app. Built-in stop points flag risks and halt unsafe progression, and providers review results before a clearance is given. We built the mobile app in Flutter, the web panels in React and the back end in Node.js.
The challenge
- Employee health checks and pre-employment screening were fragmented, manual and slow.
- Sensitive medical and biometric data had to be handled to strict compliance standards.
- Employees, employers, patients and providers each needed a different, role-based experience.
- Risks found during screening had to be caught at once, before anyone moved on.
