The project
QHealth is a healthcare app built for a GP clinic group in Australia to make clinic access easier and support patients' wellness between visits. Patients book appointments, follow a weight loss program with personalized plans, take part in step-based challenges and buy medical and cosmetic products from an in-app marketplace. Push notifications and a virtual assistant chat keep them engaged. We built the mobile app in Flutter with a React admin panel and a Node.js and MySQL backend, and the clinic's website also offers online booking 24/7.
The challenge
- Booking an appointment meant phoning the clinic during opening hours.
- Weight loss patients needed day-to-day guidance and motivation between consultations.
- The clinic had no direct channel to reach patients with reminders and offers.
