The project
Spin Wheel is a casual mobile app for Android and iOS. Users spin a virtual wheel for fun and build their own wheels, choosing the colours, the text on each segment and the text size. Spins cost coins, and users earn more coins by watching videos. Users can also chat in the app. We built the apps in Flutter and a React and Laravel admin panel where the team manages users and controls how many coins are available.
The challenge
- Generic decision wheels offer little control over how a wheel looks or what it says.
- A free game needs a fair way for users to keep playing without paying up front.
- The operator needed control over users and the coin economy without code changes.
