These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern your access to and use of Medicine Expiry Date Tracker and its related services (collectively, the "Service"), operated by Equitysoft Technologies Pvt. Ltd. ("we," "us," or "our").

By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree with these Terms, please do not use the Service.

1. About the Service

Medicine Expiry Date Tracker is a medicine organization and expiry tracking application that helps users record medicines, manage quantities, track expiry dates, organize medicine information, and receive applicable reminders.

The Service may include:

• Medicine information management
• Medicine category management
• Medicine profile management
• Batch information management
• Medicine quantity tracking
• Medicine expiry date tracking
• Medicine photo storage
• Medicine dashboard
• Expiring and expired medicine information
• Low-stock tracking
• Expiry reminder functionality
• Daily summary notifications
• Medicine archive and history functionality
• Application settings and account management

Features may change, be added, or be removed over time.

2. Eligibility

You must be legally permitted to use the Service under the laws applicable to you.

By creating an account or using the Service, you confirm that the information you provide is accurate and that you meet the applicable age requirements for using the Service.

3. Account Registration

The Service requires an account to access certain features.

You are responsible for:

• Maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials
• Keeping your password secure
• Providing accurate account information
• All activities performed through your account
• Informing us if you suspect unauthorized access

You must not share your account credentials in a manner that compromises account security.

Authentication for the Service is handled through our backend authentication system. The Service does not currently use Firebase Authentication for account registration or login.

4. Medicine Information

The Service allows you to add and manage information about medicines. You are responsible for:

• Providing accurate medicine information
• Providing accurate batch information
• Providing accurate quantity information
• Providing accurate expiry dates
• Reviewing the information you enter
• Updating information when necessary
• Ensuring that the information you provide does not violate the rights of another person or organization

The Service does not independently verify the accuracy, authenticity, safety, quality, or validity of medicine information entered by users.

5. Profiles, Categories & Organization

The Service may allow you to organize medicines under different profiles and categories.

Profiles may be used for yourself, family members, other individuals, or pets.

You are responsible for ensuring that the information you enter into profiles and categories is accurate and appropriate.

The Service does not independently verify the identity, relationship, ownership, or other information associated with a profile.

6. Medicine Expiry, Stock Tracking & Reminders

The Service is designed to help users track medicine quantities and expiry dates.

Medicine information provided by the user may be used to determine upcoming expiry dates, expired medicines, low-stock conditions, and applicable reminder or notification events.

The Service does not guarantee that:

• Medicine information entered by the user is accurate
• Expiry dates entered by the user are correct
• Every expiry condition will be identified correctly
• Every low-stock condition will be identified correctly
• Every reminder will be delivered at a specific time
• A reminder will always be delivered successfully
• The Service will always be available when a reminder is due

Reminder and notification functionality may be affected by device settings, notification permissions, application settings, operating system restrictions, connectivity, technical issues, or other circumstances outside our reasonable control.

Users remain responsible for checking medicine information, expiry dates, quantities, packaging, labels, and other applicable information.

7. Medical Disclaimer

Medicine Expiry Date Tracker is an organizational and reminder tool and is not a medical service.

The Service does not provide:

• Medical advice
• Diagnosis
• Treatment recommendations
• Prescription recommendations
• Dosage recommendations
• Medical assessments
• Professional healthcare services

The Service does not determine whether a medicine is safe, suitable, effective, or appropriate for use.

Users should always consult a qualified healthcare professional, pharmacist, doctor, or other appropriate healthcare provider for medical questions or concerns.

Users should also follow the instructions provided by medicine manufacturers, healthcare professionals, pharmacists, and product packaging.

The expiry information displayed by the Service is based on information entered by the user and should not be considered a substitute for checking the original medicine packaging or other authoritative information.

8. User Content

You may enter, create, edit, save, or otherwise provide medicine, profile, category, batch, quantity, expiry, photo, and other information through the Service ("User Content").

You retain ownership of the User Content you provide.

By submitting User Content, you grant us the limited rights necessary to:

• Store your information
• Process your information
• Display your information to you
• Maintain your medicine records
• Provide expiry tracking functionality
• Provide stock tracking functionality
• Provide reminder and notification functionality
• Provide archive and history functionality
• Maintain and operate the Service
• Maintain the security and functionality of the Service

We do not claim ownership of your User Content solely because you use the Service.

9. Acceptable Use

You agree not to use the Service to:

• Violate applicable laws or regulations
• Provide information that you do not have the right to use
• Intentionally provide false or misleading information
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Service
• Access another user's information
• Interfere with or damage the Service
• Upload malicious software or harmful code where uploads are supported
• Attempt to compromise the security of the Service
• Reverse engineer or attempt to extract source code from the Service except where permitted by applicable law
• Abuse or misuse the Service
• Circumvent technical restrictions or usage limitations

We may restrict or terminate access where reasonably necessary to protect the Service, users, third parties, or comply with applicable law.

Your User Content remains yours, subject to the rights granted to us under these Terms.

Your use of the Service is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which explains how we collect, use, store, share, and protect information.

By using the Service, you acknowledge that you have reviewed our Privacy Policy.

13. Service Availability

We aim to keep the Service available and functional, but we do not guarantee that it will always be:

• Available
• Uninterrupted
• Error-free
• Secure
• Compatible with every device
• Free from technical issues
• Able to calculate or display every medicine record without errors
• Able to deliver every notification successfully

The Service may occasionally be unavailable because of maintenance, updates, technical issues, database issues, authentication service interruptions, third-party service interruptions, or other circumstances.

14. Updates

We may release updates to improve the Service's functionality, security, compatibility, or performance.

You may need to install updates to continue using certain features of the Service.

Features may be added, modified, or removed as the Service develops.

15. Account Suspension or Termination

You may stop using the Service at any time and may request deletion of your account.

We may suspend or terminate an account if:

• You violate these Terms
• You misuse the Service
• You engage in fraudulent or unlawful activity
• Your actions create a security or legal risk
• You attempt to access another user's information
• You provide prohibited or harmful content
• We are required to do so by law

Where appropriate and reasonably possible, we may provide notice before taking such action.

16. Medicine Tracking Disclaimer

The Service is intended to help users organize medicine information, track quantities, monitor expiry dates, and receive applicable reminders.

The Service does not provide medical, pharmaceutical, diagnostic, treatment, or professional healthcare advice.

We do not guarantee that:

• A medicine is safe or suitable for use
• A medicine is authentic or genuine
• A medicine remains effective until or after a particular date
• A medicine is appropriate for a particular person or animal
• Medicine information entered by the user is complete or accurate
• Expiry dates are always entered or calculated correctly
• Low-stock information is always accurate
• Notifications will always be delivered
• The Service will replace original medicine packaging, labels, instructions, prescriptions, or professional healthcare advice

Users should verify important medicine information with the original packaging, medicine manufacturer, pharmacist, doctor, veterinarian, or other appropriate healthcare professional.

17. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Equitysoft Technologies Pvt. Ltd. will not be responsible for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or similar damages arising from your use of or inability to use the Service.

This may include, to the extent permitted by applicable law, losses or damages resulting from:

• Incorrect medicine information
• Incorrect batch information
• Incorrect quantity information
• Incorrect expiry dates
• Missed or delayed reminders
• Failure to receive a notification
• Loss or unavailability of stored medicine information
• Reliance on information stored in the Service
• Use of expired or incorrectly identified medicines
• Medical decisions made based on information displayed by the Service
• Service interruptions
• Third-party service failures

Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot legally be excluded under applicable law.

18. Account & Data Deletion

You may request deletion of your account and associated information.

You may also request deletion of saved medicine, profile, category, and other information associated with your account.

Archiving a medicine within the Service does not constitute account or data deletion. Archived medicines may remain available as part of the application's history functionality.

Upon receiving a deletion request, we will take reasonable steps to process the request in accordance with our Privacy Policy and applicable legal requirements.

Certain information may be retained where required for legal, security, fraud prevention, dispute resolution, or compliance purposes.

19. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time.

When we make changes, we will update the "Last Updated" date above.

Your continued use of the Service after updated Terms become effective means that you accept the updated Terms, to the extent permitted by applicable law.

20. Governing Law

These Terms will be governed by the laws of India, without regard to conflict-of-law principles, unless applicable law requires otherwise.

Any disputes will be handled by the courts or dispute-resolution mechanisms having appropriate jurisdiction over the matter.
