4. Offline Storage and Synchronization

Aluminium Window Design 3D is designed as an offline-first application.

Your drawings, orders, and related work can be stored on your device using an on-device database. You can create and edit supported information even when your device does not have an active internet connection.

When network connectivity is available, information that is waiting to be synchronized may be sent to the application's backend services.

The application uses local data as the primary source of information for the user interface. Changes made to locally stored information are saved on the device before synchronization occurs.

The application may maintain synchronization information such as whether a record is waiting to be synchronized or has been synchronized.

Network availability does not guarantee successful synchronization. Connectivity interruptions, server availability, device restrictions, or other technical circumstances may delay synchronization.

Users should ensure that important work is synchronized when connectivity is available.

5. Data Storage

Information associated with your account, orders, drawings, profiles, and other application data may be stored locally on your device and through the backend infrastructure used to operate the application.

The application uses an on-device SQLite database for local data storage. The application uses Drift as the database layer.

Local information may include:

  • Orders
  • Drawings
  • Profile information
  • Synchronization information
  • Other application data required to provide the application's functionality

The application uses a custom backend built with Node.js and Express. Backend application data may be stored using MySQL and related application infrastructure.

Authentication uses access and refresh tokens. Authentication credentials and tokens are handled using secure storage mechanisms on the device.

We take reasonable steps to protect your information and maintain appropriate technical and organizational safeguards.

However, no method of electronic storage or transmission is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security of your information.

6. Data Sharing

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information.

Information may be transmitted to our backend services when required to provide account, synchronization, and other application functionality.

We may also use trusted service providers when necessary to operate, maintain, secure, and support the application, such as:

  • Cloud infrastructure providers
  • Database and storage service providers
  • Authentication and security service providers
  • Technical service providers
  • Other service providers necessary to operate the application

These service providers may process information on our behalf only as necessary to provide their services and are expected to handle information appropriately.

We may also disclose information where required by applicable law, legal process, court order, or governmental authority.

7. Third-Party Services

The application may use third-party services or infrastructure to support functionality such as:

  • Cloud infrastructure
  • Data storage
  • Backend services
  • Application security
  • Authentication
  • Network communication
  • Other technical functionality required to operate the application

The application uses its own backend authentication system for user registration and login.

Third-party infrastructure providers may process information on our behalf where necessary to provide the application's backend and technical services.

Third-party service providers may have their own privacy policies and terms. Users should review the applicable privacy policies of third-party services where appropriate.

We will update this Privacy Policy when necessary if the application's third-party services or data practices materially change.

8. Data Security

We use reasonable security measures to help protect your information from unauthorized access, misuse, disclosure, alteration, or loss.

The application uses authenticated requests and server-side authorization controls to help ensure that users can access and manage information associated with their own accounts.

Authentication tokens are stored using encrypted device storage where applicable.

The application also uses client-generated identifiers for locally stored records and synchronization operations.

However, no electronic transmission or storage method can be guaranteed to be completely secure. Therefore, while we take reasonable measures to protect your information, we cannot guarantee absolute security.

9. Account and Data Deletion

Users may request deletion of their account and associated personal information.

Users may also request deletion of their saved orders, drawings, profile information, and other associated application information.

Deleting an order or drawing from the application removes the applicable record from the user's local application data. Where the record has already been synchronized with our backend services, deletion may also be processed as a synchronization operation.

Because the application supports offline work, a deletion made while offline may remain pending until synchronization becomes available.

To request account or data deletion, users may contact us using the contact information provided below.

When a deletion request is received, we will take reasonable steps to delete applicable information and associated data, subject to legal, security, fraud prevention, or other legitimate retention requirements.

10. Children's Privacy

Aluminium Window Design 3D is intended for professional and general business use and is not specifically designed for children.

Users must meet the minimum age requirements applicable in their region to use the application.

We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

If we become aware that a child has provided personal information, we will take appropriate steps to remove such information where required by applicable law.
